Being a bereaved dad is difficult and one thing that I've experienced since losing my son is that there are not a lot of outlets for bereaved fathers. Society tends to show more attention to bereaved mothers and sometimes us men, fathers, husbands don't show our feelings or tuck them away and try to be strong for our wife, girlfriend, or whomever may have experienced child loss. This has been a great outlet for myself but also for other dads that have lost a child. Our team is made up of bereaved dads and friends or supporters for our cause. It's a great way to get out of the house and have an outlet and be surrounded by others that have experienced the unimaginable.
